If you're a parent of a TMNT fan, this is the best turtles game to get for them and it's not even close. It's the best TMNT game since the series was rebooted and the best TMNT game since the 2007 GBA Beat em up. If it was a downloadable, I'd give it an 8, but as a $40 release it's a 7. It wouldn't work in a game like this, but it's unfortunate whenever a TMNT game doesn't have multiplayer. Another really cool aspect is that you can switch to any of the turtles on the fly One of the few downsides is that there's no multiplayer.
The enemies are mostly obstacles with a few being a royal pain in the ass, but your arsenal gets big enough that always makes it fun to kill them even when you don't have to. The combat has a nice flow to it with multiple upgrades along the way like getting stronger, additional attacks, and some projectiles to improve it even more.
